Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Delivery- We offer delivery as a convenience and can only estimate the cost and exact date of

delivery. We are usually very accurate, but in some cases transporters will require an additional

$50 to $100 above what we’ve quoted to deliver your vehicle depending on your location and market

conditions. In those rare instances, we will contact you and can take that payment over the phone

with a credit/debit card. We request that the transporter contact you to let you know what time to

expect the car and in some cases, vehicles can be delivered 1 to 2 days after the scheduled

delivery date due to weather, truck repairs, or other delays. We only use transporters with the

proper insurance, licenses, and solid performance history, but you are welcome to arrange your own

transportation if you prefer.

2) License Plate- If you live outside Florida, we will attach a 30-day temporary license plate to

the car when the transporter is here to pick it up. You will be able to drive the car immediately

and have the balance of the 30 days to register the car in your state. If you are in Florida, we

will either transfer the plate (number) you provide so you can attach it when the car arrives or we

will attach the temp tag and mail you your new plate when it comes in. If you are transferring an

expired plate, we will mail you your renewal sticker.

3) Warranty- Warranties are available through us from ASC Warranty and range anywhere from 3

months/3,000 miles to 36 months/36,000 miles. In some cases, 48 months/48,000 miles may also be

available. Extended warranty pricing generally ranges between $300 and $1,800 depending on the term

and vehicle type so if you’re interested in a longer warranty, please contact us. We typically wait

until you have your vehicle to activate the warranty so you don’t lose any time while waiting for

delivery. The “Buyer’s Guide- As-Is” document is a federal form that is required on all vehicles

per federal law if there is no warranty or service contract from the dealership itself.

4) Title- If you live in Florida, we will register your vehicle with the DMV for you which

includes delivering the title to them. If you paid in full for your vehicle (no financing), the

state typically takes around 30 days to process your title and mail it to you. If you live outside

of Florida and paid for your vehicle in full (no financing), we will mail your title to you

typically after you receive the vehicle from the transporter. If you financed your vehicle, the

bank typically requires that we mail the title to them.

5) Vehicle Pick-Up- If you are flying in to pick up your vehicle, Ft Lauderdale is the closest

airport from our location (approximately 20 minutes).

6) Sales Tax- We collect and distribute sales tax and registration fees to the state for Florida

residents. We do not collect sales tax or registration fees for out of state customers so you will

be responsible for paying sales tax and all applicable fees in your state which you will do when

registering the vehicle at your DMV or state agency.

7) Insurance- Florida residents are required to provide proof of insurance- your vehicle cannot be

registered without providing us a valid insurance card. Out of state residents are required to

provide proof of insurance so we can print a temporary license plate.

8) Driver’s license- The state of Florida requires that we have a copy of the purchaser(s)

driver’s license(s). The easiest way to provide us with your license and insurance card is by

either taking a photo with your phone and emailing it to info@shoprightchoice.com or by scanning

and emailing it. We only need the front of your license. If you are out of the country, we will

need a copy of your passport.
